Where Did You Study Abroad?

Welcome Fellow Study Abroad Blogger!

If you've gone and traveled and studied abroad, share your thoughts on the program and so others can read about it. If you recommend the program, or not, share it as well. Bottom line, we want to hear from past and future students opinion.

To help you get started on some points you can use the guide lines below
1) Which country did you go, or is looking/researching for?
2) How long did you do the program, or how long where you interested in?
3) What topics of interests did you study abroad for?
4) Tell us about culture in that country?
5) Was the trip worth it?
6) What where some of the highlights in your trip?
7) What did you get out of the trip?
8) Would you do it again, if so where?
9) What where some of the safety issues involved in your trip?

First of I love to travel, it's part of my lifestyle and my means to recollect my thoughts from a stressful life living in a city. What makes traveling even more interesting if I am learning a new language. I studied abroad in 2003 in Costa Rica, and loved the Spanish experience. Staying with the homestay was the best way to really make the most of my experience. I felt like I was actually living in the country, plus experiencing home cooked meals from my host mom. The overall experience was amazing, I felt very at home and came out of it the understanding of another country's culture, and life style.

Good luck looking forward to reading other peoples experiences.
